About Us

We are long-time residents of North Andover, dog guardians and dog lovers, with degrees in physical therapy and animal massage. Over the years we have shared our home with five rescue dogs. Saba, a German Shepherd Mix, inspired the opening of Good Dog after a total hip replacement, and later developing Degenerative Myelopathy.

Vahva, Bandit & Buddy, the Good Dog poster dogs, all experiencing physical therapy first hand for various conditions including spinal surgery. And Bandit with bilateral knee surgeries-went on to climb NH’s 4000 footers! Now Lula… Luis Carrillo, PT, CCRP is a licensed Physical Therapist (New York University, 1984) and a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (University of Tennessee, 2003) has over 21 years experience treating human patients and 19+ years treating dogs.

He founded Good Dog Aquatic Fitness in April 2004. Mary Carrillo, is a Certified Small Animal Massage Therapist (Bancroft School of Massage, 2005) and an Animal Care Specialist (North Shore Community College, 2004).
