Here's me running around and playing with my ball! I worked hard at therapy and now I am A-OKAY! |

December
I can walk around fine now, and I'm gaining weight too. I've been working on the things I learned in therapy, like jumping and going up stairs, in my day-to-day life. |

Here's me at graduation! |

Late October
Here are the therapeutic stairs...they have big steps on one side, shallow steps on the other, and a place for Luis to stand to help me go up them.
This exercise strengthens the muscles in my hind end, plus I have to work on my coordination. I was proud of myself the first time I got up the stairs! |

I can really motor around the swimming pool now - Luis can increase the current in order to exercise my legs more. At home I've started to be able to walk. |
Early October
I'm starting to be able to walk a little bit if I have some support.
This is me trying out the wobble board...balancing like this helps to stimulate the pathways between my brain and my body so that they can reactivate after my long illness and paralysis. |

Mid-September
okay, I'm swimming for the first time ever...my hind legs are twitching a little now the weight is off them: that's a good sign! |
Early September
I have a new wheelchair so I can get around, but I prefer to drag myself by my front legs. I can't feel my back legs at all. I've been sick for a long time, and I just arrived in Massachusetts and have a brand new family. |
